Magento Acumatica Integration: Connectors, Cost and Timeline
Connecting the two cuts manual data entry and keeps stock counts current on the storefront, according to Acumatica and Commercient. Acumatica offers a contract-based REST API and OData, and your license sets how many API requests you can send per minute. Orders post as sales orders while stock, shipments and invoices come back. Acumatica lists Adobe Commerce as a supported integration, not a native connector.
✦ WHAT SYNCS
What moves between Acumatica Cloud ERP and Magento.
| DATA | DIRECTION | NOTES |
|---|---|---|
| Orders | Out of Magento | Magento orders become Acumatica sales orders (Celigo, Commercient). Celigo's template also sends order cancellations from Magento to Acumatica. |
| Inventory | Into Magento | Acumatica inventory flows to Magento (Commercient, Celigo). Commercient says inventory syncs on a scheduled basis. |
| Products and prices | Into Magento | Acumatica stock items become Magento products (Commercient, Celigo). Commercient also lists Stock Item categories and attributes feeding product collections. |
| Customers | Both ways | Celigo lists customers in both directions. Commercient lists Magento buyer records to Acumatica customers and Acumatica customers to Magento customers. |
| B2B accounts and price lists | Into Magento | Commercient lists price classes among the objects it can sync and does not state a direction. Decide which system owns contract prices before mapping them. |
| Invoices | Into Magento | Celigo's template sends Acumatica sales invoices to Magento. Commercient's product page does not mention invoices or payments. |
| Shipments | Into Magento | Celigo's template sends shipments from Acumatica to Magento. Commercient's product page does not mention shipments. |
| Returns, credit memos and refunds | Both ways | Commercient lists Magento returns to Acumatica credit memos. Celigo's template lists customer refunds from Acumatica to Magento. Kensium's documentation has a Return Sync section but no flow is described on the pages read. Skyvia and Stacksync pages do not describe a refund flow. |
✦ THE API
The Acumatica Cloud ERP API.
| ASPECT | DETAIL |
|---|---|
| API type | Contract-based REST API with default endpoints (Acumatica's examples use endpoint version 24.200.001), plus OData in two forms: generic inquiry based (screen SM208000) and DAC based. |
| Authentication | OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect through Connected Applications (screen SM303010). The flows listed are Authorization Code, Implicit, Resource Owner Password Credentials and Hybrid (OIDC). |
| Rate limits | Set by your license on the License Monitoring Console (SM604000): Maximum Number of API Requests per Minute and Maximum Number of Concurrent API Requests. Once requests in the past minute reach 50% of the per-minute limit, new requests are delayed. Requests beyond the concurrency limit wait in an internal queue, and one is declined if more than 20 requests are queued or it waits longer than 10 minutes. Acumatica's pages give no default figures, so get yours from Acumatica or your partner. |

✦ CONNECTOR OPTIONS
Connector options.
| NAME | TYPE | NOTES | LINK |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kensium Acumatica-Magento Connector | Extension | Kensium's product documentation says the connector bridges Magento's front end and Acumatica's back-end business management tools. Its guide has sections on mapping warehouses, multi-source inventory setup, queues, logs and returns, but the overview does not describe what each does. The pages read name no price and no Acumatica or Magento versions, so ask Kensium for both. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
| Commercient SYNC for Acumatica and Adobe Commerce | Extension | Commercient's product page lists orders to Acumatica sales orders, stock items to products, inventory, customers, Magento buyer records to Acumatica customers, returns to credit memos and price classes. It says mapping and frequency are configured per project, near-real-time sync depends on system capabilities and project configuration, and supported objects and direction depend on system setup and project scope. The page shows no price or versions, and Commercient's pricing page says there is no fixed price list and quotes are individual. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
| Celigo Magento to Acumatica integration template | iPaaS | Acumatica to Magento: sales orders, customers, inventory receipts, items, shipments, sales invoices, order cancellations and customer refunds. Magento to Acumatica: orders, customers and order cancellations. Celigo says the flows deploy without coding or IT support and offers a 30-day free trial. The page lists no price, timing or supported versions. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
| Stacksync Acumatica and Magento | iPaaS | Stacksync's page lists record types to review for each system (Acumatica sales orders, invoices and stock items, Magento products, orders, customers and inventory) but says they are starting points and do not confirm Stacksync support. It says to scope the required objects, record volume, update frequency, initial load and support needs when comparing options. It gives no prices, intervals or versions. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
| Skyvia Magento and Acumatica | iPaaS | Cloud data integration with bi-directional sync, UPSERT, and runs on a schedule or manually. A free plan covers 10,000 loaded records per month. It lists Magento and Magento Cloud as supported and does not mention refunds. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
| MuleSoft Adobe Commerce Connector (Mule 4) | iPaaS | Third-party Mule 4 connector for the Magento REST API, developed by TA Digital and listed on MuleSoft Exchange. The listing says it requires an additional fee. It covers the Magento side only; the Acumatica side is built in Mule flows. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
| Custom build on the contract-based REST API | Custom | Direct integration against Acumatica's endpoints. Because the license caps requests per minute and concurrent requests, a custom build needs a queue and batching sized to your licensed figures. | Vendor page (opens in a new tab) |
✦ COST AND TIMELINE
Cost and timeline.
| LEVEL | SCOPE | TYPICAL RANGE | TIMELINE |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Connector set up and configured | $3,000-8,000 | 2-4 weeks |
| Level 2 (this integration) | Custom API integration (orders, inventory, customers) | $10,000-25,000 | 4-8 weeks |
| Level 3 | Complex ERP sync (B2B pricing, multiple warehouses, middleware) | $25,000-75,000+ | 8-16 weeks |
Typical range, quoted after a scoping call.
A standard order, stock and shipment sync through a packaged connector sits at level 2. License-based request caps, heavy B2B price classes and several warehouses push it to the top of that range, and a custom build on the REST API moves toward level 3. No native Magento connector turned up. Acumatica's commerce connectors page names native connectors for Amazon, Shopify and BigCommerce and lists Adobe Commerce under other supported platforms. Every option here is therefore vendor-supported. Sync timing varies by vendor. Commercient says inventory syncs on a scheduled basis, near-real-time sync depends on configuration, and order frequency is set per project. Skyvia runs on a schedule or manually. The Celigo and Stacksync pages give no intervals, and the Kensium pages read do not state timing. Supported versions. The Kensium, Celigo, Stacksync and Commercient pages read name no Acumatica or Magento versions, so confirm both with the vendor.
✦ WHERE THESE PROJECTS GO WRONG
Where these projects go wrong.
- Licensed request caps. The per-minute and concurrency limits come from your license, and Acumatica starts delaying requests at half the per-minute cap. A bulk stock or price load needs to run through a queue sized to your figures.
- Declined requests. Acumatica declines a request once more than 20 are queued or one waits over 10 minutes, and it sends no signal while a request is queued. The client has to keep waiting and retry.
- Stock items and variants. Commercient maps Acumatica stock items to Magento product and variant structures during implementation, so agree how templates and configurable products line up.
- Warehouses. Kensium's documentation has sections on mapping warehouses and multi-source inventory setup, so plan how Acumatica warehouses line up with Magento sources before go-live.
- Refund direction. Celigo sends customer refunds from Acumatica to Magento while Commercient sends Magento returns to credit memos. Pick the system where a refund starts.
- Contract pricing. Price classes and customer-specific prices need one owner.
- Write-back loops. Shipment and invoice updates written to Magento should not queue the order again.

Magento Dynamics 365 Business Central Integration: Connectors, Cost and Timeline
Business Central has a documented REST and OData API, so Magento orders can post as sales orders while stock, prices and shipment status flow back. The hard parts are item variants, location mapping and a request limit that applies per user.
Magento Dynamics 365 Integration (Finance and Operations): Connectors, Cost and Timeline
Finance and Operations exposes its data through OData over public data entities, so Magento orders can post as sales orders while stock, prices and invoices come back. The work sits in entity keys, company scoping and service protection limits on the API.
Magento Odoo Integration: Connectors, Cost and Timeline
Odoo can run orders, stock and invoicing behind a Magento store. Its older XML-RPC and JSON-RPC endpoints are scheduled for removal in Odoo 22, so a new build should use the JSON-2 API, which Odoo offers only on Custom pricing plans.
Magento Sage Integration: Connectors, Cost and Timeline
Sage is several products with different APIs, so a Magento integration starts with which one you run. CertiPro, i95Dev, ADSS, Greytrix, Alumio and scandiweb each name different Sage products. The table below shows who supports what.
