Orange Collar Media was contracted to design and develop Prime Electronics on the Magento Enterprise Platform. Orange Collar Media’s savvy design team refreshed the site with a new look and feel that reflected Primlelec’s positive impact on the planet. Splashes of green and constant calls-to-action for recycling used equipment helped to make Primlelec’s site more appealing to environmentally conscious consumers and businesses. Orange Collar Media migrated all information from Infopia to the Magento Enterprise Platform. Magento Enterprise contains many of the features required by Primelec out-of-the-box, including an enhanced Content Management System (CMS), layered navigation, built-in order management and Solr search. Moreover, Magento Enterprise included the world-class support features that Infopia lacked, like industry-leading SLAs and fast response times from US-based support personnel. Equally, as important, the Magento and Orange Collar Media partnership provided Primelec with an affordable solution that will enable the company to realize a Return on Investment quickly and with little worry. Within 60 days following design, the Orange Collar Media development team adroitly met all of Primelec’s requirements and exceeded expectations in the launch of the site. The feature-rich – yet, affordable- Magento Enterprise platform continues to meet Primelec’s evolving needs and functionality requirements. In the future, Primelec anticipates integrating functionality like Rich Merchandising Suite, Loyalty Points, and Content Staging.
